Relief of the Cathedral of Bari
1980 - surveys with the Wild P31 metric chamber

The Cathedral of Bari, for its architectural characteristics and the same position, has been the subject of photogrammetric surveys on several occasions. In 1980, thanks to the availability of Wild Italia, the surveys were carried out with the Wild P31 metric chamber with interchangeable optics. Below is the relief of the facade, which, despite the small size of the square facing it, has been entirely taken up thanks to the super wide-angle lens (45 mm. On the 9 x 12 cm format). Note the particular filter applied to the super wide-angle lens to make the brightness of the image uniform. Below is an image taken from the frame of the facade relief. Considering the parallelism between the slab and the façade itself and neglecting the protrusions, we can define this image as a photoplan and measure the measurements with a simple proportion.
